1. For the first term I believe I could have tried harder working on specific things and staying on task by listening.
2. I believe I did good with cleaning up after class and I always put what I was using in the right spot and always plugged in my iPad after using it.
3. I learned I should put more effort in focusing, and I should spend more time on my work. I also learned more about shape and shading when drawing our self portraits.
4. I was most surprised in this class when I realized how much work it involved when comparing photos with drawings, without tracing.

Throughout the quarter I enjoyed the landscape project the most because I liked using texture with the brush to make the trees in my painting appear more real, also using values to show the difference between the light and dark of the painting.

Value - lightness or darkness or tones of color. EX- white is the lightest value, black is the darkest. Shade - To introduce lightness or darkness to a color. Tint - the mixture of a color with white which increases lightness. Primary colors - a group of colors which all other colors can be obtained by mixing. Secondary colors - a color resulting in the mixing of two primary colors. Complementary colors - colors that cancel each other out and creta e a grey scale. Warm and cool colors- warm colors are darker shades like red cool colors are lighter like blue |
